Each student who quali๏ฌes can receive a maximum of $15,000 from admission to graduation to help cover expenses during their course of study. Funds can be applied to tuition, transportation, laundry, apparel, food and other necessities. An average of 145 students are supported annually with multi-year scholarships.
The annual Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Bus Tour exposes aspiring college students to 11 of these vital and historic institutions, from Pennsylvania to Georgia. Over 500 students have attended since 2007 and over 95% earn acceptance to at least one of the HBCUโs visited.
Through thoughtful partnerships, SCF provides targeted workshops for scholars, parents/guardians, alumni, and community members to empower participants with the knowledge and skills needed for financial success.
