“If given a chance, I will prove it to you.”

One of the most defining examples of this mantra in action was during a time in my life when I did not think I was going to finish high school, let alone go to college. I was living in survival mode, “fight or flight.” My way of fighting meant showing up to school every day and staying on top of my schoolwork.  I carry that attitude of “just give me a chance” into everything I do. It keeps me motivated, grounded, and constantly ready to prove myself through action.
